The 8-bit genre seems to be in bloom after Crystal Castles breathed life into the gameboys and atari-keyboards all around the world. Now, several other bands seem to achieve succes with their 8-bit sounds, and while I’m not very impressed with most of them, You Love Her Coz She’s Dead managed to win me over. The style is a little more horror’ish than Crystal Castles and everything is a bit more crazy and messy, but that doesn’t make the music less amazing. There’s no looking back just a pursuit of musical kicks and You Love Her Coz She’s Dead will definately be one of the shinings stars on the 8-bit sky not far from now. Their track Superheroes will be part of the Kitsuné Maison 6 compilation and they’re releasing an EP in late November including some of their gems.
