I remember seeing Alexander Robotnick at the Distortion festival earlier this year, and it was maybe the most unlikely dj set at the festival. He was playing at a huge square in the middle of the city, and while the mood has been very chilled-out before he entered the stage, things went towards something close to crazy when he started doing his thing. Not that people were flying all over the place and such, he just made us all feel the good vibes. It was a very strange experience seeing a guy that doesn’t really fit inside the usual hipster-dj frame rocking the crowd. Now he has a remix of Little Boot’s Stuck on Repeat out, in which Little Boots’ innocent grooves are matched with Robotnick’s usual sense of Italo Disco.
