Dubstep and disco… Sounds like a weird combo, huh? Well maybe it isn’t as weird as you might think, because dubstep pioneer, bassfan and generally awesome guy Skream teamed up with Kutz and created an absolutely stunning disco mix for Rinse some days ago. I’ve been listening to it for so many times, and those two hours just seem to fly away.
Of course there’s half an hour of dubstep thrown into the mix in the end, but it’s the disco that makes this mix. It seems a bit unlikely that Skream has been digging through the racks of old disco 12″s, but then again he seems to be able to do pretty much anything at the moment.
