It’s amazing really. Everybody (myself included) have been screaming disco for over a year now, and we have still to see fresh new labels pop up and do theirs to promote and release awesome disco. Italians Do It Better is still the ultimate resource for nu-disco which is once again proved by the addition of Bottin to their already impressive lineup of artists.
Bottin’s seems to be a great guy from Venice, Italy, so I guess it’s reasonable to call his italo disco authentic. He has a 12″ release of the track No Static lined up very soon, a track that can be sampled from his Myspace. No Static is a delicious 5 minutes of disco grooves and that signature laid back italo sound, and I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on the 12″.
Until then, here’s a nice promo mix by Bottin named Disco Aesthetics. Lovely mix with great tracks on it, ranging from the cool italo sounds to the more upbeat disco. Tracklist after the jump!
