Joe And Will Ask? got a shout from here through my Twitter followers’ top recommendations for 2009. That’s a nice way for a fresh band to start out 2009 but when I first wrote about them I never realized that they were going to move this fast. In fact they’re up with a brand new single coming out on Kitsuné on January 26th featuring the tracks Claymore and Take Me Away, but that’s not really what this post is about.
I must admit that I found the two tracks a bit too static for my taste… Not bad, and don’t worry I’m not trowing away Joe and Will Ask? just yet, just a bit too generic for me. What caught my attention was a bootleg remix of Fairmont’s Gazebo that seems to balance the generic stuff and the energetic stuff a little better.
