Let’s try something new:
Imagine a huge tent at a summer festival packed with people in the middle of the night. The only thing that lights up the tent is the flicker of some strobe inspired white lights that end up giving the whole place a look worthy of a cheesy horror movie. Then imagine three distant characters hiding behind their white laptops while one of them shouts something incomprehensible into a microphone. That was pretty much the setting when Magnetic Man did their thing at the Roskilde Festival last year.
I don’t mean to sound all too religious, but when dubstep is played out loud on a proper set of speakers, things just become magic. Magnetic Man has to be the first real dubstep allstar team with Skream, Benga and Artwork teaming up to break your laptop’s speakers, and now there’s a brand new EP on the way. A couple of tracks are up for grabs below, and although they aren’t exactly in high quality, they’ll give you a pretty good idea about where they’re heading.
