I had to include Digitalism on this list. Few bands have been remixed as much as they have, which is even more amazing when you think about the relatively sparse amount of tracks they’ve released. Apart from Idealism and a few tracks here and there, the guys haven’t really released anything, but I’m pretty confident that we’ll be hit by a tidal wave of remixes once they actually put out something new.
Below are three remixes of a couple of Digitalism tracks. I never knew that The Horrors worked this well with remixes, but their Pogo remix is dark and dubby in a way that slightly reminds me of Strange House. Siriusmo’s take is a bit down the same alley, with a bit more action and drums added to the mix. Shinichi Osawa’s take is more of a party starter. I didn’t discover this remix until a few weeks ago, but it quickly became one of my favorite Pogo remixes.
