You’ve got cement in your shoes

Lyrics in dance music must be one of the hardest things to master. Make them too simple and you end up sounding corny. Make them too advanced and nobody will ever get the faintest idea about where you’re heading. It’s an outstanding achievement when you’ve actually made your lyrics compliment your track, which the following tunes are perfect examples of.

Logg – I Know You Will (Lary Levan Remix)

First Love – Party Lights

Pineapples – Come on Closer (Club Mix) New link

On another note I would like to make the most uninteresting statement any blogger can make: I’m sorry for neglecting my posting duties over the last couple of days. I have some really amazing tracks that I simply can’t wait to play to you, but I’m pretty busy at the moment. They’ll be up though, as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

Would you re-up the Pineapples link? I’m sorry for coming to this so late. For obvious reasons, “Come on Closer” is a favorite of mine, and I’m dying to know what this “Club Mix” version is. Thanks / Ben

Hey Ben, I’ve put up a new link now. The track is absolutely brilliant, definitely one of my favourite italo tracks too.
