Metronomy‘s math inspired pop has already won me over, but the thing I really found interesting was the huge amount of great remixers who reworked their tracks. When Jupiter, Sinden and Mad Decent remix your work, you know it’s going to be good. Well, you’re going to get a lot of blog exposure at least.
Now the Radio Ladio singe is being prepared for release, and with the new single comes a new batch of remixes. I’ve already posted the Michachu remix on here, so I won’t drop it once again. Instead, here’s Radioclit‘s take on the track with my timed ramblings thrown in below.
- Metronomy – Radio Ladio (Radioclit French Remix) (feat. Marina)
- 0:37 – Nice rearrangement of the track so far. Percussion + wobbles is an awesome combination
- 1:15 – Definitely prefer the female vocals, they somehow sound more honest.
- 2:11 – This is ace! Not much new added, more of a rearrangement. It just works
