I don’t want to bore you with long ramblings on the redesign, just a short post. Over the last month I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the old The Morning After theme that used to power Going Other Places. Not that it’s a bad theme or anything, it was just too difficult to work with. The thumbnail and “latest post” image crafting was way too much hassle and I’m not even going to mention all the problems I had with displaying a full post on the front page.
So, a change of scenery was an obvious choice. I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about the Thesis theme, especially about the easy customization and smooth layout, which all made me curious to find out, what the fuss was about. At first the price (87 $ for a lifetime license) seems a little harsh, but it’s worth the dough once you’ve dug into the framework.
If you’re scared by the idea of paying for a Wordpress theme or just don’t think it’s worth the 87 $ I follow you. But if you want an easily customizable (really, it’s smooth) theme with plenty of built-in opportunities, Thesis is for you.
Also, feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts on the new theme. So far the feedback has been excellent, but if you’re having any kind of trouble or if you’re just curious feel free to ask or share your thoughts. It’s always appreciated. And to keep this post from being all-talk, here are two great tracks; one being a fresh Russ Chimes remix with a new twist, the other a dirty piece of funk.
- Minitel Rose – Continue (Russ Chimes Remix)
- Asso – Do It Again

who are/is Asso? I like the song, but i have no idea who it is, and can’t find anything about them/him/her on the web at all.
I can’t really figure out who they were, other than what Discogs tell me. And that’s not much..
