I’m having fun, don’t put me down.

I love those lyrics. In a way they seem to contain a little bit of every La Roux track in them. We’re just having a bit of fun, don’t take it too seriously and most importantly don’t make it stop.

So to keep the fun coming, Midfield General decided to remix Bulletproof. Of the tracks coming from her upcoming album, Bulletproof is probably the one most likely to amaze bloggers as well as the mainstream crowd. If you feel offended by that statement, the Midfield General remix will be just your thing.

I didn’t realise his sound was so dark (we remember Disco Sirens, right?), but I guess I should have taken the hint after Love Thy Self. With a sound that’s surprisingly similar to LTS, La Roux’s innocent charm is long gone and replaced by a dark and dubby low-end.
