Reposts are often pathetic attempts at pulling out a new spark from an already proven success. I don’t know if the first post featuring this track was a success, but it sure does deserve some more recognition than what it received last time.
If I could only play a single disco tune for you, B.W.H’s Stop would be my weapon of choice right now. A shuffle journey brought me back to the old times of innocent sound matched with passionate vocals and a grove that’s out of this world.
I love the way this sounds creepy until the vocals kick in and completely alter the mood of the track. They sound so beat-up as though they were recorded through a laptop microphone. This was obviously before the age of Pro Tools.
Masaaki Miyara is the man with the lens once again.
