I figured I’ve been playing things a little too nicely on here, so today it’s time for some serious dubs. I apologize for the rambling style over the last couple of weeks with all sorts of genres blending together. I will try to get a little bit more structured once I return from Roskilde.

Joker has been consistently awesome lately, and his latest release just proves that he’s one of dubstep’s finest names. With his latest collaboration with Ginz, things get more tribal and the grittiness is maxed out. I expect great things from this guy, and if you’re just remotely interested in the UK dubstep scene, this will be just your thing.

- Joker & Ginz – Purple City (Get the 12″ at Boomkat)

Another artist, who has shown incredibly promising skill through remixing The Streets, is Nero. Using a somewhat cheesy vocal sample, things take of with some tricky doublestep punches and ends up going absolutely mental. I guess this could fire up any party at 2 am; why not give it a shot? High five Rub a Dub Dub for this one

- Nero – Act Like You Know
