A thump and a whoop

I actually meant to post something completely different today, since I’ve been listening to disco edits all day. Then, I decided to play a game of blogger’s catch-up meaning that I’m going to post tracks that peaked about two weeks ago.

I don’t know why I ignored Renaissance man when they first surfaced. The ordinary bloghouse banger style tracks ended up boring me a while ago. My blog searching duties have been largely neglected lately, so it wasn’t until today, when I finally decided to clean up my music folders, that I discovered the beauty of Renaissance Man.

In a way, Renaissance Man’s music is banal, unoriginal and plain boring. We’ve heard the first 1.224.842 edits (actual number) with a half-assed basslines and random calls to actions; we’re through with that. Yet, the simple elements work beautifully and as you probably know by now, I’m a sucker for vocal samples.
