Gino Soccio is pretty much a legend, and while I’ve already elaborated on my love for his older tracks, the edits and remixes are neither as frequent nor as great. Youth proves me wrong though, and this excellent edit of his equally excellent Dancer proves why we all owe something to mr. Soccio.
Transforming the LCD Soundsystemesque theme to a deep rubbing groove, this Re-Rub is indeed a winner. Big ups to the Hyperbole team for delivering this and be sure to check out the site if you dig Youth’s sound. The Warp edit is a great start, especially if you’re not a Steve Aoki fan.
