I have already written extensively about my love for Motor City Drum Ensemble; how he dominated 2009, how his Raw Cuts series blew my mind, and I’ve even featured him in a couple of mixes both from Savile and myself most recently.
It’s with good reason, though. Although I spend a great deal of my time digging through the crates of house music, I have not heard of anyone who manages to blend house, light techno, and disco with the same amount of succes. In that way, Danillo Plessow is a perfect example of what this blog is about.
Since new productions from his hand are relatively sparse, I’ve dug through the archives to find yet another solid jam from the German ranks. I scooped this one up at Regnsky, where they were already apologizing for holding on to the track for too long, so I will not even bother so begin apologizing on here. Instead, I would like to point out that this is a bit more edgier than the Raw Cuts tracks while not being full-on peak-time (think DJ Sprinkles & DJ T remixes). I can’t wait to hear, where he will take us in 2010.
