I prefer parties in the sun at this time of the year, but if the rain comes out, moving the action to the loft seems like a good idea. I imagine that’s what Danillo Plessow’s inspiration was when he sat down to remix Toby Tobias‘ Macasu.
The result? A rolling ride of feel good vibes with a piano loops and vocals on the side. The percussion sounds like echoes from the old New York disco archives, which isn’t that surprising when you consider the title. It’s hard not to love Motor City Drum Ensemble when the output is this good. If you miss the Raw Cuts series, this will bring back sweet memories.
