Affiliate? Whoa, what?

I'm writing this for two reasons. First of all, I've begun to include affiliate links in my posts and in the sidebar, too. You'll notice that they'll take you to a site like juno.co.uk with a small suffix which is my reference ID. Second of all, the FTC now requires all bloggers to state their disclosure policy. Since I'm not living in the US I don't actually need to do so, but I see it as a nice thing to do anyway. So, if you click any of these affiliate links you'll fly away from here and hit a normal looking page at some online record shop. What's different, then? When you check out after filling your basket with delicious new records, I'll get a small commission from the site selling the records. Hosting this site becomes expensive over time, so the pennies collected from this will go towards keeping the site shiny and fast. And we can all agree that is good, right? This would be an excellent chance for me to spam you with records and hope you'll buy something. However, that is not my intention. I only write about the best music I can find, and I'll only link releases that I genuinely believe will enhance your life and/or put you in a state of eternal bliss. If I'm not living up to that, please tell me. For you, this will mean that I'll be better at pointing you to the full releases. These will mainly be on vinyl (after all, how different is a 192 kbps mp3 from that LOLcat lying around on your desktop?). If you don't click, you will not feel a thing and I will not send you nasty looks. If you do buy anything through my links, countless internet high fives will fly your way. That is a promise. Rasmus
